Vaser Liposuction in Turkey

Vaser liposuction is a simple cosmetic procedure that introduces you to the heart of beauty and agility with the suction technique to eliminate fat in certain body parts. Vaser liposuction in Turkey aims to model and shape the body with clear muscle lines. During the operation, the surgeon removes the fat tissue from the edges of the muscles in the form of points. Experts can prefer this procedure for any problem area. The cost of Vaser liposuction in Turkey depends on the place where the surgeon will operate.

This liposuction method is the highest-rated technique among all other liposuction techniques. Vaser appreciates by patients and surgeons worldwide for its high level of safety, transparent and predictable results, and short rehabilitation time. After the operation, the scars after Vaser liposuction in any area will be almost invisible and will often disappear completely. This procedure is harmless to the body, and if you follow the doctor's recommendations, the result will be stable and long-term. You can achieve the perfect figure in one procedure. You get rid of fat in problem areas; you can add volume to the body areas you want and get rid of cellulite.

Liposuction

Conversely, liposuction is a cosmetic surgical procedure preferred by surgeons to remove excess fat tissue from specific body parts. In this procedure, surgeons perform the process by sucking excess fat tissue with the help of a thin tube called a vacuum cannula.

In general, Vaser liposuction is similar to the traditional method, although there are some crucial differences between Vaser liposuction and traditional liposuction. The most significant difference is that Vaser liposuction allows more precise fat removal. This liposuction type doesn’t entirely change the body's contours but corrects the body's shape in a small but effective way.

Vaser Liposuction

This liposuction type is excellent for dealing with excess fat deposits. This method destroys cell membranes. Vaser liposuction in Turkey is a surgical procedure in which surgeons insert a special probe through thin holes in the correction area you target. This process destroys fat cells by passing through ultrasound waves.

Tiny microscopic holes are required to use the Vaser technique. Due to this, the integrity of the skin is practically not broken; the skin isn’t stripped of its fat layers and isn’t injured. The Vaser method is a safe and effective procedure that allows you to create attractive body lines in a single session. However, like other types of liposuction, it doesn’t aid in drastic weight loss. Experts designed this technique to work only with localized fat deposits. You can fix almost any area with this method.

Your Consultation (Vaser Liposuction Consultation)

Vaser liposuction consultation in Turkey includes meeting with the surgeon to get information about the procedure and determine if you are a suitable candidate. During the consultation process, the doctor will explain this critical procedure to you in detail, evaluate your current health status, and listen carefully to your expectations. The surgeon will also give you clear information about the procedure's risks, recovery after the process, and the results. During the consultation, the specialist will also learn about your health history, current medications, allergies, smoking, and other medical conditions. This information helps the surgeon create a treatment plan that is unique to you.

Type of Anesthesia

Specialists can perform this liposuction process under general, epidural, or local anesthesia. The type of anesthesia determines by the surgeon and anesthesiologist based on your medical condition and the size of the area where surgeons will operate them.

  • General anesthesia is a type of anesthesia in which you lose consciousness and sleep throughout the procedure. This type of anesthesia is necessary for your surgeon to perform the process comfortably.
  • Epidural anesthesia is a type of anesthesia that the surgeon applies to your lumbar region. This type of anesthesia creates numbness in your lower body, preventing you from feeling pain.
  • Local anesthesia is the anesthesia that the surgeon applies to the area where the doctor will operate. The surgeon injects a local anesthetic solution into the treatment site.

Hospital Stay

You usually don’t need to stay in the hospital after Vaser liposuction in Turkey. In this case, the surgeon advises you to rest and recover at the hotel. However, according to your surgeon's advice, you may need a short hospital stay for post-procedure follow-up, including an overnight stay.

In this process, the surgeon takes you to the resting area immediately after the procedure, and you stay under observation for a few hours. If a hospital stay is required, your surgeon and staff will take the necessary precautions to prevent your pain, risk of infection, bleeding, and other complications.

Operation Technique

During Vaser liposuction, you will most likely be subject to a type of anesthesia, such as general anesthesia or conscious sedation. Meanwhile, the surgeon injects a saline solution with an anesthetic into the area to be treated. Next, the specialist inserts ultrasound probes into the skin through a small incision to break down the fatty tissue.

Your fat tissue will slowly break down during the Vaser liposuction procedure in Turkey. The surgeon will use a vial to drain most of your fatty tissue and fluid through the same incision where he inserted the probes.

What are the Limitations?

After the Vaser procedure in Turkey, the surgeon will give you all the advice. The rehabilitation process is similar to the classical liposuction method. It is perfectly normal to have some restrictions.

Since this method is minimally invasive, it will take as little as a few days for you to return to normal. Your recovery time depends on the areas treated by the surgeon and the amount of fat removed. You may notice pink and orange fluid oozing from your wounds for the first few days. However, this is entirely normal and will go away on its own.

The pain usually occurs for a short time after the procedure. Usually, some swelling occurs in the area and lasts for several weeks. It would be best to avoid heavy lifting for a few weeks after the process to allow your body to recover fully.

For 6 weeks after Vaser liposuction, you must wear a unique compression garment to help reshape your body. It would be best if you also consumed plenty of vitamins and vegetables.

What are Possible Complications?

This procedure’s complications are infrequent, and the most common and almost inevitable problem in terms of side effects is swelling in the area treated by the surgeon. Depending on the scale of the operation, the excess fluid may last up to several months, and you can evaluate the result only after the body has completely absorbed it. In general, possible complications of Vaser liposuction include the following:

  • Discomfort and some pain in the area where the surgeon is operating
  • Temporary reduction in skin sensitivity and numbness
  • Hematomas in problem areas
  • Post-procedure bleeding

The aim of this article is to give you a general information about the surgical intervention in question. You need to make more research about possible complications and risks of this selected procedure in order to make an informed decision. Please note that complications occur more frequently with patients who are obese, smoke, and have a history or lung or other chronic underlying medical conditions.

Smokers are recognized to have a significantly higher risk of post operative wound healing problems with a subsequently higher potential of infection as well as operative and post operative bleeding. Patients should discontinue smoking for two weeks before and two weeks after surgery. Although it helps to stop smoking before and after surgery, this does not completely eliminate the increased risks resulting from long term smoking. Smoking also has a long term adverse effect on the skin and ageing process.
