What is the Difference from Other Fat Grafting Procedures?

In older fat grafting techniques grafted fat cells start dying and getting absorbed by the body as a result of the trauma they have sustained during the liposuction and injection as well as being unable to get enough oxygen to stay alive after the injection. As a result of this in few months penis starts loosing it’s artificial girth increase and in most cases that happens unevenly resulting even more disappointment and dissatisfaction on patient’s end. Nano Fat Grafting Procedure (which is also used for facial overcomes this issue by refining and purifying the fat cells in a centrifuge and injecting them in smaller amounts. This procedure also prevents lumping of the injected fat tissue under the skin, which is a common issue with other fat grafting methods.

How is it Performed?

Depending on surgeons decision nano fat grafting can be performed under local or general anesthesia and takes 1-2 hours and usually does not require compressive garments.

Operation starts with the surgeon harvesting fat cells from the patients body. The harvested fat gets washed up with saline and filtered before being grafted. The grafting is performed via small injections and fat gets distributed evenly on the penis to avoid any bulging and deformity.

Patients may go back to their work life 5 days after the surgery.

The aim of this article is to give you a general information about the surgical intervention in question. You need to make more research about possible complications and risks of this selected procedure in order to make an informed decision. Please note that complications occur more frequently with patients who are obese, smoke, and have a history or lung or other chronic underlying medical conditions.

Smokers are recognized to have a significantly higher risk of post operative wound healing problems with a subsequently higher potential of infection as well as operative and post operative bleeding. Patients should discontinue smoking for two weeks before and two weeks after surgery. Although it helps to stop smoking before and after surgery, this does not completely eliminate the increased risks resulting from long term smoking. Smoking also has a long term adverse effect on the skin and ageing process.
