1. After The Operation

Since analgesic drugs are given prior to completion of the operation and are continued postoperatively, pain is the scarcely felt outcome of the operation.

2. Follow-Up Treatments And Post-Operative Care

You have to use antibiotics and analgesics for 5 days. You are not allowed to take a shower at least 72 hours postoperatively. After that period, you may take a shower (swimming is still prohibited). After discharging from the hospital, you will need to visit your surgeon for dressing for 2-3 times.

3. Recovery

It varies but generally recovery period takes about weeks.

4. Return To Work

It is up to your profession. Generally 1 week for office workers and 2 weeks four outdoor workers.
