Rhinoplasty is performed under general anesthesia

Some bruises around your eyes may occur even if you had applied ice packs. They will improve in 3-7 days if your nasal bones are not broken, and 7-14 days if they are.
Not any scar in closed technique occurs and however, a less invisible scar in open technique occurs.
Swelling around your eyes and your cheek may occur.
For the first 48-72 hours, due to internal nasal packing you may feel uncomfortable. As thet are removed you will regain the comfort of breathing by your nose
Stitches on the inside of your nose do not require removal. Stitches on the outside of your nose, if you had an open rhinoplasty, will be removed in 4-7 days
Operation usually includes a cast and tape, which are removed in 7-14 days
