Since analgesic drugs are given prior to completion of the operation and are continued postoperatively, you will feel no pain. However you may experience dizziness which is an expected consequence of the general anesthesia.
| 2. Follow-Up Treatments And Post-Operation Care |
You have to use antibiotics and analgesics for 5 days. You are not allowed to take a shower at least 72 hours postoperatively. After that period, you may take a shower (swimming is still prohibited) with water-proof dressing. By the 2nd postoperative day, you have to make a breast massage which will be taught by your surgeon. After getting discharged from the hospital, you will need to visit your surgeon for dressing for 4-5 times.
It varies, but; generally recovery period takes about 1-3 weeks.
It is up to yo ur profession. Generally 2 weeks for office workers and 3 weeks for outdoor workers. |
