Brow Lift - Forehead Lift- Surgical Phase |
|
After careful pre-operative marking with the patient standing position, the surgical procedure is performed. The incision is usually made in the hairline so that hair will eventually cover the surgical scar. The forehead skin and muscle is raised and tightened, which pulls the eyebrows up into a more youthful position. At the same time, the muscles responsible for the deep vertical skin furrows can be cut. This usually results in smoothing of the central forehead.. Both vertical and horizontal forehead lines are usually improved by this technique. With endoscopic technique which is applied with a round tube with a fiberoptic light, we can apply tiny incisions with more easiness. After the operation,The patient is discharged from the operation room with dressings.
